a trip to the science center

We went to the Iowa Science Center in Des Moines this month with my dad.

There was a vegetable harvesting line in the kids area.

They loved it.

Ezekiel helped Rilla gather the vegetables.

It was a lot of work.

There were stray vegetables everywhere.

Lots of gathering was necessary.

All the wheels and belts were hand-powered.

The kids could have done this all day long.

Rilla kept gathering and gathering.

Abraham kept turning wheels and turning wheels.

Eventually, it was time to move on to other rooms.

One of them had this amazing wall.

Ezekiel, my little organization buddy, ran around picking up balls.

He put them all neatly back in their places.

Keith and Abraham worked to produce hydroelectricity.

It was fun to watch them.

I tried too. But I was annoyed that I couldn't get to the top number right away.

These two kept persevering after I gave up.

It was fun to watch them work on it together.

Playing with water is always a good time.

Ezekiel and Granddad watched kids doing an experiment.

It was pretty exciting stuff!

We had to take Dad to the airport after this. It was sad.

Come back soon, Dad!
