moving to Spokane

After five years in Idaho, we're moving to Washington this weekend.

There's lots that I'd like to say about that but moving is enough of a challenge just now.
Maybe I will get around to blogging about some of that stuff another day. But probably not.

In brief: finding a decent rental is hard. Mid-town Spokane is too loud.
So we found a nice apartment in a safe neighborhood on the South Hill.

And we are really, really, really excited. And happy. And excited.

Here's a glimpse of our new place.

There's no yard, of course, but there's a playground. And lots of parks around.
And heating should be cheap because we're sandwiched in on the second floor.

It's my favorite part of Spokane, and our apartment has a lovely view,
and it's big enough for all of us. And so here we go on a new adventure!

  2. Your apartment looks really nice! Nicer than many houses, I have to say. It's great there's a playground for the kiddos, too. I'm excited for move, and can't wait to talk more with you about how everything is going! I just can't help but think how nice it will be to be in Spokan while Keith is going to school, instead of commuting!
