I am studying American history alongside my kids this year, and I am learning so much! Our topics thus far have been Leif Eriksson and the Vikings, Christopher Columbus and his voyages, and now we are learning about John Smith, Jamestown, Pocahontas, and the Powhatan Indians. So fascinating!

Today we have been reading through a book called "John Smith Escapes Again!" and I totally recommend it. It's Ezekiel's new favorite book!
