Ezekiel's first birthday

Guess what I just found?

Never-before-seen pictures from Ezekiel's first birthday!!

Yes, this happened back in March. But I just uploaded the pictures.
And I'm really excited about them. So I'm sharing!

Zekie was sick on his birthday, and missed a joint birthday party with his cousin Ezra.

But his daddy brought home balloons.

And it was his happiest moment of the whole day.

Mine too.

There is nothing like balloons to make a sick one-year-old happy again.

And the good thing about having siblings is that even if you're sick on your birthday,
you can still have a party. Because they are stuck with you.

Rilla gave Zekie this set of play kitchen dishes.
Abe picked out a rolling elephant for him.

The grandparents came to dinner too.
Here's Rilla reading with her Grandpa Steve.

And here I am with my dear baby boy.

He was just learning how to walk then.

Here are all the kids with their grandpa.

And here we are having dinner together.
Zekie's favorite... sweet potato fries!

I made him a teddy bear cake. Gluten free with cocoa and coconut oil frosting.

Poor sick little guy. You can tell he didn't feel well.

He was like, what is this candle thing all about?

I think he had some help blowing out the candle.

He liked the eyes. They were made out of blueberries.

He gave me a bite too.

That was about all that he was interested in eating though.

And here's Grandpa Steve and Abraham.

And that was Ezekiel's first birthday... eight months ago!

I am so happy about figuring out a way to access all my pictures.

Stay tuned for more outdated picture posts in the near future!
