riding horses with friends

There are a lot of great people here in our corner of Iowa.

I have a lot of favorites! Actually, I think they're all my favorites.

So it's not really fair to say that this family is one of my favorites...

but I do really love them! They are incredibly kind, gracious,

and servant-hearted, and we are continually blessed by them!

Anyway, now after all that I don't even have a picture of most of them...

but I did want to share a few pictures from riding horses in their arena!

Ponies are Rilla's favorite animal. She loves riding!!

Here I am watching our children through the fence.

This was Ezekiel's first time riding! He sat on a horse once this spring,

but this trip around the arena with Craig was his very first real horse ride.

He did great until he saw me at the end of the first loop.

See? He spotted me. Totally falling apart now. I rescued him swiftly.

But still, doesn't he have a cute little upset face?

And here he is playing on the fence. Funny boy!
