Today we pack the boxes into the moving truck and get ready to leave Spokane behind. We are taking Sunday to rest before we leave, and we leave Washington on Monday.
There will be some tears as we say goodbye.
But you know what? We can't wait.
We are ridiculously excited to move to Iowa. Every time we have a phone conversation with or an email from one of the people we've come to know there, we are grinning like crazy all over again. The people at this little church in Iowa are wonderful people. It is seriously such an honor to get to go there.
If you think of us in this next week or two, please pray for us! We'll be traveling 1500 miles with a van, a moving truck (which will be towing a car), my dad, Keith's dad, Keith and me, our three little ones, and a whole lotta stuff. We've got our routes mapped out and it should be fun. The kids are looking forward to staying in hotels that have swimming pools, and I am looking forward to being done with these ridiculous mounds of boxes (the packing part, anyway).
But the best part will be when we get there.
We are so, so, so excited to see you all!!
The kids are sooo excited you are really moving here! Gaela looks forward to meeting "gaela" :-)
