Priscilla and Abraham are loving being "farm kids" here at their grandparents' house. Every day they boot up in their rainboots (aka "farm boots") and trudge around to help with feeding the animals. They love it here so much. It's a really special time in our lives, I think.
Abraham cracks me up every day with the funny things he says. He really has a remarkable grasp of language. Of course, not everyone can understand him, but we who live with him find it kind of hilarious that he adds "uh" to the ends of his words, such as in the sentence, "I'm a bigguh boy!" It's not always to the same words, though, and it's kind of a recent thing. Anyway, he's not always this random, but here is one conversation that I happened to write down today:
Abraham (passing through the room): "Mama, can I have your mouth?"
me: "No."
Abraham: "Is your head attached to your neck?"
me: "Yes."
Abraham: "Oh." (And he walks off.)
That is quite possibly the best conversation I have ever heard of in my life.
