dun dundundundundun dun dun dun...

I never took dance lessons as a child, but I had a tape of the Nutcracker Suite that I would play all year long. I used to prance around the house to it and pretend I was a ballerina. My parents told me that I was a very convincing ballerina, so who knows? Maybe I was.

(I did take ballet for three semesters in college to make up for all the years that I had wanted to be a ballerina. I absolutely loved it. Ballet is going to be my sport/exercise of choice when we have a hardwood floor and barre in our home someday. But until then...)

Amazon has 99 Essential Christmas Masterpieces on sale for $2. That's like two cents apiece! Among them are many beautiful compositions from the Nutcracker. I can't wait to play them and dance around the living room with Rilla. This is definitely going to be a Christmas-time tradition (and probably year-round tradition) in our home... starting tomorrow morning!
